Hospice at Home West Cumbria runs a service to treat Lymphoedema, the limb swelling that can be a side effect of many cancers, or of cancer treatments.  Clinics are held at the West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven and at the Workington Community Hospital.  Home visits can be arranged if appropriate. To access this service you need to be referred to us by your GP or another health care professional.

West Cumbria Lymphoedema Support Group is a group that welcomes anybody with primary or secondary Lymphoedema.  Informal meetings are held quarterly and anybody is welcome to come along and meet people with similar problems, exchange advice, get helpful tips and generally support each other.

For more details about the Group please ring Val Thompson on 01900 824483 or Anne Farrer on 01900 705200.
