Support GroupsWe run support groups for carers and for bereaved people, with a range of formal and informal sessions designed to assist people to access help and support.

Hospice Support Groups are informal gatherigs where people are welcome todrop in for a cup of coffee and a chat.  They are for people who are hospice patients, or who are caring for someone who is a hospice patient, or who have lost someone who was very close to them.  Visitors will often meet other people who are in a similar position to themselves, and can find companionship and support.

Support Groups are run by hospice staff with the help of specially trained volunteers.  Each session at a support group lasts for 2 hours and there are a range of formal and informal sessions designed to assist people to access the help and support they need.  Everybody is welcome and there is no need to book in advance - please just come along.  Complementary therapies and one-to-one counselling can be provided by specially trained staff, although you will need to ring the office on 01900 705200 to make an appointment to access this.
