STAR STRIDING FOR HOSPICE
Midnight Walk – Friday 5th June 2009
A ladies only 6 Mile sponsored walk beginning at Midnight
Hospice at Home West Cumbria invites you to join them for their first Midnight Walk.
Taking Place on Friday 5th June 2009 this fully guided walk will cover a 6 mile loop of Whitehaven Town Centre, starting and finishing at Tesco Car Park.
The entry fee is just £10.00 per person. On entry every walker will receive a walk pack, comprising of a sponsor form, a route map, walk number, walking & fitness hints and tips and the all important pink walk T Shirt.
On the day of the walk each participant will be asked to register with us, with a copy of their sponsor form (again this will take place on Tesco Car Park 10am -11.15pm). Once registered all participants will receive a goodie bag, containing a bottle of water, a biscuit, a glow product, a rain poncho & some other literature and goodies.
On completion of the walk, all participants will also receive a medal.
There will be a prize for the best Fancy Dress costume should you choose to dress up individually or as a group.
All we ask in return is that you raise as much sponsor money as possible.
