Hospice at Home West Cumbria exists to provide the best possible pallative care to terminally ill patients, and to give help and support to their carers.
We don't have a hospice building. Instead we provide hospice services to people in their own homes. All our services are provided free of charge.
Hospice at Home West Cumbria works verly closely with the NHS, and our services complement those that they provide. NHS funding covers about a third of our costs and we have to raise about £1,000 a day to cover the rest.
